'Concerned about the unbelievable physical damage inflicted on black operations warrior Jason King over the course of his first two missions, his superiors send him off-the-grid for an extensive training camp.

'King touches down in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, delivered into the hands of an ex-Special Forces legend known only as Brody. The mysterious combat veteran exiled himself to a compound near the Rwandan border after a storied and secretive military career.

'As Brody sets to work sharpening King into a human weapon, their proximity to a heavily protected copper mine sets them on a collision course with a reckless party of South African mercenaries. By the time the carnage reaches its apex King finds himself plunged into a savage, primal world he knows nothing about.
