Post-punk and alternative rock singer-songwriter, who features in biographical writing about Nick Cave.

Lane collaborated with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and previous Cave band, The Birthday Party. She released her debut solo studio album in 1993: the works had been recorded between 1983 and 1993.
