AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'What is juggling? For the purposes of this history, juggling is broadly defined as the manipulation of objects. So this book discusses hoop rolling, plate spinning, traditional club and ball juggling, hat juggling and lots of balancing. There are also many discussions of individual jugglers, including international visitors like Cinquevalli and American minstrels like Joseph Jalvan. Australia also produced some incredible jugglers, including amazing circus performers like Marizles Wirth, international superstars like Stan Kavanagh, and local talents like Arnold Jarvis.'  (Publication summary)
