'Dave mangenner Gough is a proud trawlwoolway man who descends from bungana (chief), manalargenna’s oldest daughter, woretemoeteyemer of north east Tasmania.

'Dave is the cultural advisor for the University of Tasmania, Co-Chair of the Queen Victoria Museum & Art Gallery Aboriginal Advisory Council, board member of the Aboriginal Advisory Council of the Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery, Co-Ordinator of Tiagarra Tasmanian Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Devonport and Chair of Six Rivers Aboriginal Corporation, Devonport.
