Notes

  • Author's note: 'Advena' was a collision of some thoughts about pandemic behaviour, consciousness, and Phillip K Dick’s Ubik and how it sort of explored the type of dying described in The Tibetan Book of The Dead. The little epigraph at the start of 'Advena' is a quote from The Tibetan Book of The Dead, and is about the virtue of deciding to shuffle off this mortal coil in order to embrace a higher consciousness.

  • Epigraph: This world is shaped in darkness. Here, only a few can see their way free. These few birds escape from the net and fly away to the heavens.
