BiographyHistory

'Obeida Aloroj worked alongside his brother in auto mechanics in Syria. He was forced to flee as a teenager and was transported from Christmas Island to Manus Island at the age of 16 where he was detained for 6+ years in Australia’s black site. Tiger, a dog he adopted on Manus jIsland, and who remained with him and the other men in Lombrum during the Siege of 2017, was his close companion.'
