Fifteen-year-old Quinn Perkins spends a summer working as an intern with her best friend Daniela and marine-biologist father Charlie, studying the unnatural shift in biodiversity on a reef in Dolphin Bay. But when mysterious events occur, then teens, including fellow intern Teddy, assume they're being haunted by local legend Everly Fallow: using Everly's diary, given to them by his daughter, they set out on a treasure hunt to find out the truth about Everly and about what is happening with the reef.
