'Simone Lyons is an interdisciplinary scholar with interests in life writing and human– animal relationships. Her PhD thesis, completed in 2020, explored representations of dogs and human–dog relations in rural Australian memoirs. Simone is currently working on a monograph that extends on her doctoral research.
