'Sebnem Nazli Karali (BA (Dist.), MA (Dist.), CertLing, CertEd) is an internationally published literary scholar, critic, and writer. She is currently a PhD candidate at Edith Cowan University, Australia. Her research interest centres on the interdisciplinary dialogue between literary and cultural studies, theatre and performance studies, and (post)memory of traumatic violence in minority-ethnic/migrant communities. Her published works include The Case of Einar Wegener Revisited (2016); Musical Affect and the Emotion-Cognition Interaction in the Phantom of the Opera (2020); and Masculine Uses of the Womb in the Renaissance (2020).'
