This short-lived ABC television anthology series included only five episodes, four of which were BBC plays: Death of Socrates (broadcast 14 August 1968), The Quarry (broadcast 21 August), The Arrangement (broadcast 28 August), and After Many a Summer (broadcast 11 September).

The sole Australian play, The Cell, was broadcast on 4 September 1968.
