Frederick Salier's The Cruise of the Isabel is a short pamphlet describing, in narrative form, the journey of the 'Isabel' — with special attention paid to the food. Essentially an account of internal travel, Salier detailed the activities of the 'Rover Parties,' which comprise the participants in this cruise.
