BiographyHistory

Brian (William Brian) Butler was an advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and the Stolen Generations. He campaigned for the establishment of The Healing Foundation and sat on the initial Advisory Board, he was also on the Indigenous Advisory Group for the National Inquiry into the Separation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children from their Families, Bringing them home and was a founding member of the Secretariat of National Aboriginal and Islander Child Care (SNAICC).  (https://healingfoundation.org.au/2024/12/11/vale-uncle-brian-william-butler/
