BiographyHistory

Illustrator and comic-book artist.

Lam won a Silver Ledger in 2020 for her comic about the death of a pet dog, Good Boy. She was also shortlisted for a Ledger, again in 2020, for two additional works: Between Forever, a wordless graphic work that was presented in the form of a 3-metre long Möbius strip at the Footscray Community Arts Centre's Emerging Cultural Leaders showcase in 2019, and which tells an endless circular story in which the protagonist shifts between states of awake/asleep, reality/dreaming, life/death; and Life Happening, a short concertina risograph zine that explored free will.
