Put together in 2019 by Lorna Munro, 231: The Last Day of Freedom 2019 is a collection of music, poetry and interviews with various Indigenous people about politics, history and culture. With one minute of broadcasting for each year of the colonial project referred to as “australia”, This special podcast project helps us to understand the history and perspectives of First Nations people, as well as their social, economic and cultural positioning today.

The following year, Lorna created another iteration of this unique and captivating project. 232: The Last Day of Freedom 2020 follows a similar layout of expressions of Indigenous Sovereignty, resistance, persistence through stories of the Land Rights movement, music and poetry and discussions about the continuing cultural and societal effects of the ongoing colonial project.
