'Allison Ruth Craven is Associate Professor of Screen Studies and English at James Cook University, Australia. She is the author of Fairy Tale Interrupted: Feminism, Masculinity, Wonder Cinema (2017), and Finding Queensland in Australian Cinema: Poetics and Screen Geographies (2016). She is currently the Colin and Margaret Roderick Scholar in Comparative Literatures at JCU, and her project concerns Australian Gothic film and literature.'
