BiographyHistory

Writer, director and producer Taryne Laffar is a descendant of the Bardi and Jabbir Jabbir nations: she established production company Pink Pepper in 2020, beginning with the short documentary Our Law, about Australia's first and only Indigenous-run police station.

She was a 2020 recipient of the Brian Beaton Award, with Sam Bodhi Field.
