S. Anna Florin is a PhD candidate in archaeology at the School of Social Science, The University of Queensland. Her research is focused on tropical archaeobotany and ethnobotany, human evolution and Australian archaeology. She is currently working on the plant foods eaten by Indigenous populations occupying Madjedbebe, Australia's oldest known archaeological site.
