'1988. Kathy Sullivan is excited about taking up her new job as a pilot in Alice Springs. She knew it could be hot in the Red Centre, but had no idea how much heat she would generate.  In the sky, she’s in full command, but back on the ground, she is in danger of losing her cool. She wants to be respected as a pilot, but the enigmatic stranger from Mulga Downs makes it clear she’s not worthy of the role.
