'Is someone killing innocent people, or has a wave of depression swept across England?

'On an outing to the White Cliffs of Dover, Lily and Will hear screams. Unfortunately, they're too late to save a woman who jumped to her death. They make some brief enquiries with the police but don’t think much of what seems a straightforward suicide… until they start happening daily. Deciding to delve deeper into the tragedies, Will senses magic on one of the victims.

'Turning it into a full-blown investigation, the PIB asks Lily to help with her special talent, which she reluctantly does, dreading the images she might see. Unfortunately, that becomes the least of her worries when their ongoing investigation into her parents’ disappearance unearths some new leads, and Lily receives a mysterious letter, warning her to watch her back. But it’s not enough to keep her safe.

'Can Lily, Will, and their friends end the epidemic of suicides before too many more victims leap to their deaths? Will Lily even be around to help, or will those who want her dead catch up with her first?'
