'New friends and foes abound as David Flynn returns to Esmorde to battle with pirates, outrun wyverns and get into just the right amount of fabulous mischief all over again. David can't wait for the end of school term. In just a few days, he'll be returning to Esmorde for the annual Banishing Festival. But when Dad finds David's exercise book full of stories about Esmorde, he worries David is spending too much time in his 'imaginary world' and sends him to see accomplished therapist Uncle Darius. David quickly learns therapy is the last thing on Uncle Darius' mind ... he believes David's stories about Esmorde are true, and he has the evidence to prove it.
