He broke her heart when he wasn't there for her when she needed him the most.

FBI Agent Jett Crane is hunting his ex-partner who has gone off the rails. When his one time girlfriend Savannah Watson becomes an accidental casualty, he is both thrilled to see her again, and terrified that she might now become a target of the man he is searching for.

Savannah on the other hand is not the least bit pleased at the prospect of seeing Jett again. He let her down, and broke both her heart and her trust, and she has no interest in rekindling old feelings. Despite her determination to ignore his attempts to win her back and in spite of the pain he caused her, being around him softens the hard wall she had built around her heart. But with a dangerous man circling them will it all be too late for Jett and Savannah to once again find happiness with each other?
