Born and raised in Darwin, Rachael Chisholm graduated from WAAPA’s Certificate IV in Aboriginal Theatre in 2009, and was then accepted into NIDA (the third member of her extended family to be accepted at NIDA). She has also participated in the First Nations' Writers Program at Browns Mart Theatre, Darwin (24-28 June 2019).
