Radio producer and actor. Ward Leopold began work in Australian radio in Melbourne in 1923, in the early experimental programs. He moved to Sydney radio in 1929. In 1948, he was appointed temporary ABC Variety Producer, taking the role of Trafford Whitelock, who was then on a nine months' leave studying radio trends in London.
