About the poem:
* Erasure poem created from Santa Barbara Astronomy Club information sheet
The poem was created at a Writing Under the Stars workshop at the Santa Barbara Museum where we viewed stars through telescopes then came back to write. I was stuck when coming up with ideas, then I found the Astronomy Club information sheet in my hands and decided to try an erasure poem. I love the way erasures open up the space between words and thoughts in the same expansive way stars do.
