About the poem:

‘burial’ was previously published in The Grieve Anthology volume 6, 2018.

In recent years I’ve been thinking a lot about grief and the mundane ways people are drawn away from talking about or processing their feelings. Inter-generational silence can be an endless, self-reinforcing loop. On the bright side, we were truly blessed with lunar eclipses in 2018, and I’ll always be thankful for that.
