BiographyHistory

Born in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, to Irish parents, Jimeoin moved to Australia when he was twenty-two, and rose to prominence as a stand-up comedian in the early 1990s. He had his own television program for a period, and co-wrote and starred in two films: The Craic in 1999 and The Extra in 2005. He continued to tour as a comedian into the 2010s.
