AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'My House In Inveresk is a novella which tells the story of Launceston in the last century, full of history, adventure and fantasy.

'One day Polina finds a book in the old wash-house behind her home in Inveresk, Launceston. She starts reading it and falls asleep. When she wakes up, she finds herself at the end of 19th century, where her house belongs to someone else. Not far from the house is the Tasmanian Exhibition, where she meets Professor Seymour Hale, and his revolutionary Tellurian Machine which, as she soon discovers, can travel in parallel Universes.'
