AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'This traffic in girls is carried on in every City in the world. It imperils the lives of our young womanhood. The number of young girls who have disappeared within the last twelve months is astounding. In nine cases out of ten they have been traced to these houses. The evils of commercialised vice are so alarming that the abolition of the system must not be delayed. Our girls must be warned that this traffic really exists so that they will be prepared to resist the insidious advances of these procurers.'
