AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'They say Henry is a changeling. Through his synesthetic senses tumble a 1860s rioting with superstition, laced thick with the specters and jetsam of Old Hobart Town. When the barrister’s son Arthur comes into his life Henry learns that life can be dandelion yellow, cracking its way through the cobbled paths of gossip and hypocrisy. Through this arterial-deep friendship Henry will learn he is the rag and bone man, a collector of thought rags, a player upon hollow bones. Lee Morgan’s The Rag And Bone Man is an adult fairytale about the unfinished business of stories, and the people who get lost beyond the suspension dots of history.'
