AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Have you ever lost your vehicle in a carpark or swum with the tide in Swansea? Reading Not Quite, Demelza’s first book of poems, is comparable to eating a bag of mixed lollies with your eyes closed – you can never be sure whether the next bite will be sweet or chewy. Her poems are not only eclectic in content but also in style. Demelza draws from personal experience to reflect her busy life with humour and heartache touching on many of the basic subjects which affect us all. From birth to burial there’s a poem in here for all ages.'
