AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'In Waking The Past, ex-foreign correspondent Danni Knight has quit her job reporting from war zones around the world and is now happily settled into a restful life in Sydney. She has supportive friends, a loving boyfriend, and a stress-free job as a writer for a popular magazine. However, memories of her former traumatic life resurface after she discovers Sydney painter Brindsley Butterworth’s bloodied body in his studio. Danni becomes obsessed with researching the life and death of the charismatic self-centred painter and is in danger of losing both her sanity and her life before she discovers the murderer’s identity.'
