AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Silence is consent' -

my effort to wake the sleeping

to speak up for the oppressed.

My thanks and admiration

for those tirelessly advocating

comforting and dissenting

for those trying to turn the tide.

My tears for the pain of the detained

and my country, disrespected, burning.

Forgive me, precious, unique people

unjustly imprisoned, abused children

the scorned unborn, for not doing more.

Here I offer you my love and respect

and prayers for hope and healing.'
