BiographyHistory

Yasaman Bagheri fled Iran in 2013 (aged sixteen), and was placed in Australia's off-shore detention facilities, first on Christmas Island, then Nauru, the  Darwin. In 2018, she was medevacked to Australia and placed in community detention in Queensland.
