AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Sixteen year old Amy Simmons has been dumped by her boyfriend. Her holiday plans are smashed. Otherwise there’s no way she’d agree to what her Dad wants—to spend two weeks with him in a creepy house in the middle of the Australian bush. Worse still, he’s arranged to do a house swap, which means the house’s owners—a couple of old weirdos—will actually be living in Amy’s home back in the city.

'From the moment she walks into the swap house, Amy knows things aren’t right. Nothing adds up, especially the way a heap of paintings are missing from the walls. But Dad’s not listening. He’s all caught up in something to do with Amy’s mother, who died when she was two.

'When Dad is called away to an urgent meeting, Amy is left alone. Mysterious things start to happen. She soon finds herself caught up in a dangerous web of crime and intrigue linked to a secret story from her family’s past.' (Publication summary)
