'Australian female novelist Helen Garner is the pioneer of destroying female objectivity. Her novelette Cosmo Cosmolino published in early 1990s, established strongly female subjectivity from several aspects. This essay discusses the novelette from women's extricating from the "otherness" , females subversion of male myths, and female control over the power of discourse and human relationship.' (Publication abstract)
