HarperCollins, New York, is the headquarters of the HarperCollins global brand.
HarperCollins originated as J. (James) and J. (John) Harper in New York City, 1817. In 1987, as Harper & Row, it was acquired by News Corporation. After News Corps' acquisition of British publisher William Collins & Sons in 1990, HarperCollins was formed.
