AbstractHistoryArchive Description

One-act two-hander set in a hospital. The drama was criticised in contemporary newspapers for the weakness of its climax (for example, 'Amusements', Age, 13 December 1935, p.17). The play was performed again in 1938, and newspapers noted that it 'bore evidence of revision in the climax [...] but the author has not appreciably improved his play in its denouement' ('Art Theatre Players', Age, 2 March 1938, p.9).
