AbstractHistoryArchive Description

''I don't quite remember when we realised our mistake. It was probably about ten minutes into the film, the scene where Angelo and Nino go camping and have sex in a tent. Mum turned to me, and rather than demand that I close my eyes while the characters were kissing (something she does in movies to this day), she urgently whispered, 'I think this film is about gays.''
