BiographyHistory

Serena was born at Kalkaringi, and grew up at Daguragu with nine brothers and sisters. She is Malngin and Gurindji, and contributes to Gurindji language projects. Serena has studied media at Batchelor Institute and won the Harry Wilson Memoiral Award for media and radio. She has also worked for the central Land Council. Her artowkr has toured as part of the Still In My Mind: Gurindji Location, Experience and Visuality exhibition.
