'Luke Forbes is a PhD researcher at Monash University. He trained and performed as a dancer in Switzerland and Germany before completing a Masters degree in critical dance studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, in Cologne, Germany. Luke’s research focuses on cultural and race relations in Australia through study of dances choreographed for theatrical stages, particularly performances framed by cultural, racial and national discourses in the Australian historical record.'
