'Uncle Bill and Aunty Sariba Shibasaki have lived on Thursday Island for most of their lives and have seen many changes. Uncle Bill survived internment as a 10 year old during World War II to become Mayor of Thursday Island. Aunty Sariba is of Badu Island heritage and has run her own business, the hospital kiosk, for the last fifteen years. Together they recount their lives together and share stories of Thursday Island.'  (Production summary)
