BiographyHistory

'Carole Fraser was a Wotjabaluk woman, and an accomplished blues and jazz singer and songwriter renowned for her charismatic performances, her love for her community and justice for Aboriginal people. Always lending her voice to community causes and fundraisers, Carole also contributed to Black Arm Band’s production Murandak as well as appearing in theatrical productions Up the Road, Food for thought and No Parking, the films Dead Letter Office and the Life of Harry Dare and TV series Bony and Blue Heelers.'(The Lifted Brow, No. 40, Dec 2018: 111)
