Platinum Grit is an Australian series that follows the extraordinary and off-beat adventures of Jeremy McConnor and his friends and family.
The first ten issues were originally published in print form, while later episodes were released in digital comic form.
Aquarius decides to kill all those born under his sign, including Jeremy's Aunt Lottie. Anticipating her death, Lottie summons Jeremy and her other nephew, Dougal, to her estate where the two must duel to the death for sole ownership of the family fortune.
Before his duel-to-the-death with his cousin, Dougal, Jeremy is visited by a succubus who may be able to prevent his death.
After his duel with Dougal, Jeremy is left with a large sword wound and is taken to hospital. Meanwhile, after Nils deals with Dougal's headless body by giving him a pumpkin head and leaving him at a local bus stop, this arouses the suspicions of a local detective.
Before his house warming party, aliens transport the castle into outer space. On top of this, the aliens attempt to set-up Nils and Jeremy on a date via mind-control.
Jeremy and Nilson's dinner date is interrupted by a platoon of marines and a troope of showgirls, quickly turning the space-floating mansion into a battlefield.
After landing in Greenland, Jeremy's next adventure is narrated by globetrotting journalist, Kate Provoczki. Kate finds Jeremy naked and on the side of the road after he and Nilson had a fight and went separate ways. Together, Kate and Jeremy embark on a road trip around the world.
Zeigfried goes to Greenland and begins mailing back the castle for Jeremy to reconstruct. All the while, Jeremy has a suspicion that he's being watched. Meanwhile, Kate, who has turned out to be Nilson's cousin, go out and enjoy the nightlife.
A flashback shows how Jeremy and Nilson first met.
Two-and-a-half years ago, when Jeremy's university project explodes, he flies through the wall and into the house party next door. This catches the attention of Nilson, who later arranges for the two of them to go to the zoo and steal a seal.
Jeremy's stalker ends up being the now-unhinged zookeeper from the zoo Jeremy and Nilson bombed two years ago. Jeremy is arrested for grave robbing, arson and resisting arrest, Kate and Nils discover this and go off in search of him.
In between being tortured by the zoo keeper, Jeremy writes letters to Nilson. Meanwhile, Nilson and Kate get closer in tracking Jeremy down.
