'Set in the turmoil of the apartheid years in South Africa a coloured woman faces the trials of racial discrimination as well as her own family trauma. Her employer, a privileged white woman, is challenged by the insurmountable difficulties of her marriage. Both are brought to breaking point as they struggle to find equilibrium in their lives.
