AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'When Peter and Paul were very young, little Barbara Hartford used to entertain them with an improvised version of the old nursery rhyme. Balancing two scraps of paper on the tips of her forefinger, she would like her voice and chant: "Two little dickie birds sitting on a wall / One named Peter, one named Paul, / Fly away Peter, fly away Paul, / Come back Peter, stay away Paul."'
