History

The Slow Canoe Readings Short Narrative Competition is a themed narrative competition for emerging writers, held in association with the Enlarging Writers' Festival. Narratives can be up to 1500 words, or ten minutes long. The theme can be interpreted in any way and can take any form, such as fiction, non-fiction, monologue or cartoon.
