BiographyHistory

Mayne Wyatt made his name as an actor in films and television series including The Sapphires, The Broken Shore, Redfern Now, and a two-year role on Neighbours.

Born in Kalgoorlie, he attended Hale School in Perth until the age of thirteen, after which he completed a theatre course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and then attended NIDA, graduating in 2010.

In 2019, his debut play was produced as part of the Queensland Theatre Company's season.

1n 2020 Wyatt became the first Indigenous artist to win the Archibald Packing Room Prize for his self portrait.
