BiographyHistory

Tom Phelps was a carpenter in the New Guinea Highlands during 1942 when the Japanese invaded the Pacific. 

He is the grandfather of Australian actor, singer and writer, Peter Phelps, who wrote a biography of Tom's life, The Bulldog Track, describing his journey back home to Sydney.
