Joanna Di Mattia is a writer and film critic. She has a PhD in Women's Studies from Monash University where her research examined anxiety about masculinity in contemporary American cinema. Joanna has contributed to a number of publications and her writing reflects her interest in the aesthetics of desire, sexuality, and the pleasure of looking.
