BiographyHistory

'Brenda is a Yuin woman, originally from Wreck Bay, south coast NSW. She has twenty years extensive experience as a musician and is a composer, saxophonist, pianist and teacher. Brenda was a member of the Band Mixed Relations with Bart Willoughby from No Fixed Address. She has done over one hundred interviews and oral histories. Brenda has curated notes and blogs for the National Film & Sound Archive, Sounds of Australia (NFSA website) online. Brenda’s curated notes were used as the sleeve notes on the reissue of Uncle Vic Simms Album The Loner. She is a member of the First Nations Australia Writers Network (FNAWN).'
